Letters of sympathy for Constant Lambert (1), and Alan Rawsthorne (43). Correspondents include Osbert Sitwell (1951), John McCabe, John Ogdon, Elisabeth Lutyens, Arthur Bliss, and John Wray. With letter from Prince Bernhard (of Lippe-Biesterfeld) of the Netherlands, signing himself "Bruno", from his honeymoney with the then Princess Juliana of the Netherlands, dated 3 february 1937, says they are real friends, not like all the people he meets now that he has become "someone"; mentions nationalist attack on Madrid, and Tom [Sefton Delmer, Isabel's then husband]; writes they are going to Schloss Mittersill [then a sports and shooting club] next on their honeymoon and asks this not to be mentioned by Tom in the Express.
