Miscellaneous writings about Alan Rawsthorne at Dartington Hall, 1933-34. Photocopies made from originals held in the Dartington Hall Archive. Mention of Alan Rawsthorne as composer and pianist at Dartington Hall in 1933 and 1934. Provided "subtle and intricate " music for Louise Soelberg's modern dance and for mime dance. Quartet in B minor performed by the Griller Quartet on 11 June 1933 and 6 Rawsthorne songs sung by Norman Stone. Programme of the musical burlesque "Subject to alteration" with "Kindergarten", an interlude without music, in which Alan Rawsthorne was a BBC announcer. Alan Rawsthorne composed the music for Episodes from Alice in Wonderland, a marionette show produced by Richard Odlin. With letter from archival assistant on Rawsthorne's work at Dartington.
